End Of Year Update

Well, lots has happened this past year, i completed my first year of college, decided to start nursing school, made and lost friends, finally got to go back to camp ajawah as a nurse, and counselor. i became an aunt to two beautiful little girls that friends of mine had. i got to see some amazing concerts and shows, i saw montgomery gentry, poison, and guns n roses. went to disney on ice with family.

christmas was a great this year,i worked a few extra hours to take over for my manager whos father passed away. i got to see a friend whom i havent seen since last october because she lives in illinois. i got a new digital camera with a printer and seasons of grey's anatomy and buffy the vapire slayer.

the greatest thing that i guess happened this year is deciding to move back home and go to nursing school, despite how much i miss everyone from moorhead and the campus life it's going to be all worth it in the end. i still stay in touch with all the girls and intend to keep it that way. i cant wait get started on the anatomy and physiology, along with biology. its going to be great.

the buzz on izzy

so as of today, Isabela, i call her Izzy. is off the ventilator, breathing fairly well on her own still a little faster than normal and eating a teaspoon of milk every few hours. shes off of almost all the Iv's but one. thats just for fluids nothing major. they are expecting her to be home within the next week or so. i can wait to be able to hold her. right now only Liz and her boyfriend Alfredo can hold her becuase of how tiny she is and only for 30 minutes. she has beautiful brown eyes and brown hair. she has smiled a little bit and winked at Liz today. still waiting on pictures but i will let you know how things are going as i find out. Liz gets discharged tomorrow but Izzy has to stay a little longer.

Isabela Grace

well this past saturday my best friend had her baby. Isabela Grace Rodrigez-Ramm. she was born at 3:03 am by C-section. she is only 4 lbs 11oz and 17 3/4 in. she wasnt breathing really well on her own so she was brought to childrens hospital and put on a ventilator as of noon on saturday. she is breathing a little bette on her own but is still on the ventilator. mom is doing well and the C-section went well. i spent a few hours with liz while she was at unity waiting to be taken over to childrens so she could be with isabela. she was a little dugged up and was nodding off every few sentences. made for real entertaining conversations. i will keep updates as i get them.

on the otherside of town another friend had a baby on sat at 7:30am. i dont know all the details as far as weight and length but i do know that claire lorraine verkuilen is doing well along with mom.
and i am auntie for both of them. yay!!. i will have picture as soon as i get them

i love TV on DVD

so most of you know i collect the gilmore girls, buffy the vampire slayer and the OC on DVD. well ive just added a classic to the family. i am now the proud owner of BEVERLY HILLS, 90210. thats right the amazing teen classic of the 90's is mine. whoo hoo. i was torn between that and getting OC season 3. but i just had to get 90210 instead. i never missed a show. whats scary however is that i was only 6 years old when i started watching it. oh well still a fave.

hmm new stuff to talk about. gilmore girls is turning out to be pretty good. not sure how im feeling about the new writing team though. we shall have to wait and see what happens this season. my best friend is due any day now with her first baby. its gonna be a girl, so im gonna be an auntie by thanksgiving. yeah!!! cant wait for isabella grace. i will for sure have tons and tons of pictures up for everyone too see.

schools going good, busy this time of year. its registration for spring semsester and i have no idea what classes i want to take. i'll figure it out eventually. thats all folks.

Here Flicka...

Last night was a friends birthday so we went out to dinner and to see the movie Flicka. I have to say that Tim Mcgraw is one heck of an actor. he did a great job portraying his character. i really loved all the horses in the movie too.

school is going really well, i am likeing my classes although the drive gets a little tiring after a while. but once construction cools down then it will be alright. i am eliglible to apply for the offical nursing school in february of next year. i have to have some actual credits from the college before being eligible for acceptance. so cross your fingers for me.

last and final note. i purchased tickets for montgomery gentry at the myth to raise money for the Diabetes Institute of Immunology and Transplantation at the University of Minnesota. which is a good thing becuase a close friend of the family has a daughter who has a rare immune diffiency. so its all for a good cause, gonna have a little fun and raise a little money.

another year older

so last wednesday i turned 21. i went out to eat with my aunts, uncles and my family at bubba gump shrimp company. it was good eats. then this past friday was the party, all my friends and family came out and we had a bonfire and partied til about 2am. it was a good time had by all. the cool part was that elisha got to make it down and i got to see her. havent seen her since i left school back in may. it was good to see her and kelsey and her fiancee came too. they offically set a date of AUGUST 4th. i cant wait. well i had to give a quick update becuase i havent been on in a while. hope all is well with everyone.
