back in the habit
well summer is coming to an end and i start school in less than a week. i cant wait. i am excited to be starting nursing well pre-nursing actually. got to get some stuff done first. but i'll be closer to family and friends. dont worry MSU girlies i'll be there to visit many times. this summer certainly had its adventures.
I worked at ajawah for a grand total of 5 weeks and it was amazing i met a lot of great campers and made tons of friends and got to see people i havent seen since i was a camper which was awesome too. i got to go camping with my family up in ST. Criox Haven park it was fun. my cousins and i went tubing on the river for about 2 hours. very peaceful and relaxing day.
i also found out that in a little less than a month i get to see my friend sonja who has been in iraq for the last year or so. i cant wait. i miss her.
the only downside to this great summer of mine was the loss of a fellow ajawah camper who recently passed away on august 8th, 2006. samantha hastings who was at the young age of 14 passed away as a result of a car accident, a few days later on august 13th, her father who was an ajawah alumni passed away. the only survivor was her sister who is 11. so i will be attending a double funeral on the 17th of august. they were both great people and i will miss them greatly. I will admit that it has been hard these past few days but friends and family have helped me through it all.
for now thats all i have i am going to buy my books for school today. fun fun
see you all soon
Peace happiness and a medic's love
