today was a good day as always, went to class and then went out and bought some outfits for job interviews with kelsey my RA. had a fitness evaluation done for my personal health and wellness class. watched gilmore girls which was the most amazing episode ever the ending was the best made me laugh, cry and laugh and cry harder. cant get enough of that show. i look forward to it every tuesday. the rest of the night is going to be spent watching a movie and working on a paper nothing too special here. although last night at about 10:00 i decided that i really wanted a papa johns pizza so i ordered one and lisha, ryan, amanda from across the hall, and myslef split it, very tasty!!!!! so thats my day hope everyone had a good day, ugh! just realized that its snowing, anyways have a good night all. ok so its not that far but its still small. today was laid back, had 3 classes took a quiz in biology on cells and their function and structure, not sure about that one yet, i think i did alright though. the highlight of my day: i got an application to be a counselor at Camp Ajawah where i used to go to camp when i was just a wee little girl, ok so it was only like 3 years ago that i stopped but hey 3 years is a long time. I was excited to get that in the mail. i filled it out put it in an envelope and back into the mail it went, now i just have to wait and see. cross your fingers for me!! nothing special going on tonight. did some homework that i have for tomorrow and worked on a project. just counting down the days that i get to come home this weekend becuase this weekend i get to see a friend who has been in iraq for the last year or so, well i need to do some laundry too but thats not the major reason hope you all have a good night, hope to see some of you soon. whew what a day, i made it to all 3 classes by the last 10 minutes of personal health i was ready for a nap so what did i do, took a nice 45 minute nap. it was great. i got up and melissa, her room mate jenna and i went touring around fargo-moorhead area, it was cool up until the point that melissa almost hit an oncoming car as she was turning it was scary. but obviously i lived, i had to re swallow my heart though but its all good now. had dinner nothing to special a cheese burger and a pop it was real tasty though seeing as this whole eating right and excercise deal i have been working on doesnt allow much greasy foods like that, i havent had anything but diet pop and juice for the last month so a cold coke was great tasting. after dinner i went to the wellness center which is our workout center with kelsey for about an hour, just a short workout today and now i am all ready for bed, maybe pop in a movie while i work on some homework. so thats my day love to hear about other peoples too. evening... today was a pretty good day. only had one class today human sex nothing too special to report about that one, spent close to 2 hours at the gym with kelsey, kicked some serious butt though let me tell ya, i hurt big time but its going to be worth it, last time i weighed myself i sat at an impressive 170 down from 182 at the middle of december. i am proud. anyways so we have a blood drive here at school and i went with kelsey to donate blood, but i couldnt. i had low iron from being sick and for some odd reason i had a slight fever so i couldnt it sucked really bad, i was looking forward to donating and getting a tshirt for doing it too. oh well maybe next time.
also i got my results back from the doctors about my side. for those who dont know they thought that i may have had kidney stones at the beginning of dec. well that not the case at all it turns out taht its actually a cyst on my ovary taht was blocking the blood flow which was causing all the pain, its decreased in size but it still hurts on occasion, they said if it still hurts over the next few weeks to set up another appointment and they will decided what to do from there until then i have to keep taking a pill everyday so hopefully no more tests. that would be great. so thats my story and i am sticking too it until i find a better one. he he he hope everyone has a good night. evening all today was laid back, went to classes. hit the gym for a while, and worked on homework. nothing too fancy to tell. last night we watched crash, its a good movie i recommend it to anyone to watch. i recently finished another book. forever by judy blume it was for english but it was still good, now i am going to be working on reading the A List by Zoey Dean. from the back of the book it sounds good, the summary seems like it would be interesting, any suggestions of books send em my way. its really really cold up here and will be for a long time. they are saying a sever winter weather warning from 6-midnight tonight but nothing major has gone on, just a lot of cold weather and wind of course. well that is going to be all for the night Peace, Happiness, and a Medic's Love.

sorry for the big gap in posts it was a chaotic weekend to say the least, decided that at 7 on friday i was going to go home. spent time with my mom and her friends saturday night played would you rather for like 4 hours, it was pretty fun, saw a few friends while at the mall returning a gift at the mall that was cool. picked up some money from work and bought some groceries with sara tonight, now i actually have food in my room. cool eh? got some homework done that i hadnt finished before i decided to go home, thats about it, so it wasnt as chaotic as i thought but at the time it did. hope everyone had a good weekend . it was a good day today, classes were the usual nothing to spectacular. i grabbed a quick bite to eat from the sandwich shop near the bookstore with melissa before class. last night lisha, sara, brandon and ben watched madagascar it was really cute. tonight we watched the OC of course it was good. i had to work today at the dahl hall residence desk which what i do is sort mail and check out equipment for people who want them. pretty simple nothing specatcular, saturday melissa and i are going job hunting we need money. currently i am taking a break from homework to write to you great people and to watch will and grace. i am only allowed so much TV time or so says auntie karen. and well we all know what aunite karen says goes. such is life. thats all for tonight. have a great night becuase tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! so its that time of year again! American idol and good lord is it entertaining. i love watching the auditions sooo much, havent really found a favorite yet though but there are a few audtion shows left right. anyways on to my day today. i went to class pretty basic, nothing real special went on, worked out for and hour and a half today included that killer class awesome abs, but its paying off seriously. the coolest thing happened today though, i reunited with an old friend from ajawah where i went to camp. i came across her on facebook which is for college students to meet people from there school so i added her instant messanger screen name to my buddy list and she was online it was cool. thats really about all that happend. sorry kinda short. have a good night Peace, Happiness, and a Medic's love.

OMG today was one of the best days EVER!!!! and its tuesday which means gilmore girls is on tonight!! anyways i went shopping with my RA kelsey today and we were in Vanity and they had these really cute jeans on sale that i thought i would try on now these jeans were size 33 and i am a 36 well at least i was! tried em on and holy hannah did they fit i was so excited, they were a little long but after about 20 minutes of searching every rack and shelf i found the right length and size it was so totally awesome! it completely made my day. this whole workout and eat right thing it actually does work huh who would have thunk it right i sure didnt. after our 2 hr excursion at both the moorhead center mall and west acres in fargo we still went to the gym. it was a little crowded so we just lifted weights instead we were there for about 45 minutes or so but still a nice workout nonetheless. last night was funny, after we watched the movies ryan from down the hall and lisha ( my room mate) started hitting each other on the head with a full reem(not sure about the spelling on that one) of paper it was hilarious that went on for about a half hour until it broke and then they just taped it back up and continued for about 5 minutes and that was about the end of that. but it was still pretty funny. my voice is slowly starting to make a comeback its not as terrible sounding, still sounds manly but no goose likeness anymore which is ten times better than anything else you could sound like, such as a cat or sasquatch. what exactly does a sasquatch sound like anyways not sure really i dunno. if u have the answer please let me know. thats all for now have a great night.

it was a nice day today, because it was martin luther king jr day we didnt have any classes so it was a mellow, woke up at about 11 which was nice for a change. bummed around west acres mall in fargo for about two hours just window shopping and looking at all the things i want to buy, did a few applications but it was hard to talk to someone about them becuase i lost my voice over the weekend so i sound like a goose and a man combined its ugly, everyone has been making fun of me but oh well its actually kind of funny anyways. tonight i watched two movies with lisha and alyssa, we watched Red Eye first which is a great movie i recommend it to everybody. its got rachel mcadams in it. currently watching Into The Blue. its alright but not as great as i had hoped but still good. thats about it for today, pretty short and uneventful so i'll leave it at that. well i made it back from the great town of linton, ND. its a cute little town thats about the size of hilltop trailer park which for those of you who dont know its about a 8 block radius. it took about 3 hours to get there. the ride was alright nothing really major to see but i did see a giant buffalo that i wanted to take a picture of on the way home but it was too dark to do it oh well next time right. on saturday was lisa's birthday we had cake and pizza at the restaurant that the fishers own, its the hot spot pizzeria. AWESOME FOOD!! and melissa, eliza, vanessa and myself worked at the pizza shop so that her parents and lisa could go to the fireman's ball. it was cool, i learned how to make pizza, run the deep fryer stock dough balls, and make tornado's which is actually nothing but a blizzard. i was so proud of myself! and i had fun doing it too which was good. today we had to make 7 pizza's for the church's party after mass today. it was pretty busy. it wasnt a seriously eventful weekend but fun nonetheless. i got to see old friends and catch up on old times with the family and got to learn some pretty fun stuff too. before we left melissa and i went and took some pictures around the house and the land, the barn was my favorite part i would say. that and playing with all 9 cats, they are cute. i hope that everyone had a great weekend and would love to hear all about it so give me a call and share the fun from your weekend. today was a pretty low key day, had one class today. went to lucnh at the dining hall with a few of the RA's they are cool people to hang out with, i am sitting at the residence hall desk taht i work at its a little slow so i thought that i would quick post something for you all to read. all the things that had to be done are done, sorted mail, logged in packages, missing equipment all returned and what not. the OC comes back on tonight i am excited but its moved to 8:00 or some reason oh well then its off the the gym for some working out, starting to feel the pain of lifting weights though. also today i found out that my good friend devin who is a marine currently stationed in iraq is coming back in february i am excited, he's been there for about a year and a half now we have been emailing and writing since he left but it will be good to have him back home, another friend from high school sonja is in the army and is over there has been since october, we chat online occastionally when she gets computer time i hope she doesnt have to stay long. cant say anything else to exciting happened. my room mate Lisha, and a few other friends, sara, alyssa, brandon and ryan and i watched wedding crashers last night it was a good movie. ryan was eating my jolly ranchers and shoved 14 of them in his mouth it was funny until he started drooling all over himself and then it was just gross. and a little funny still.

well another successful day down, only a few hundred more to go! english is pretty cool, human biology is AWESOME! my teacher is from ireland and sounds like he's from austrailia which he insists on making sure that he is not from there at all. and personal health and wellness seems pretty cool, a couple of people from my fall semester classes are in there with me too so its not all that bad, i worked out today, did a 30 min awesome abs class and cardio for about 20 or so. now its just sittin at home relaxing watching some TV nothing too special going on tonight, this weekend though i am headed to a small town in north dakota. a old friend moved there and i am going back home with her for the weekend to see her family. its her oldest sisters birthday on saturday so that will be awesome i will be sure to post all the details when i get back. until then Peace, Happiness, and a Medic's Love.

ok so as tradition holds on tuesdays at 7 gilmore girls is on and i am obsessed with this show entirely, i have 4 out 5 available seasons anyways on to the important part of this rant, so for the past 6 years luke and lorelai have been on and off and they meant to be together so they got engaged FINALLY i was jumpin for joy pretty sure i hit some clouds too. but, there's always a but right? so a few episodes into the season it was revealed that Luke has a 12 year old daughter, OMG right so do you think that luke would tell his soon to be wife about it, OF COURSE NOT! UGH just tell her so tonight he goes to tell her, and gets distracted by her wearing the wedding dress which by the way is not so great on her, and its ugly too but grr on luke just tell her already, its going to only get worse but i guess thats how it goes, sorry had to rant a bit, hope you all have a great night Peace, Happiness, and a Medic's Love!

MSUM homecoming 2005

well i made it through day one!! woo hoo well i only had one class as it is. its human sexuality, it sounds like its going to be interesting class, its an hour and 40 minutes though but i think that i can manage it. i even went to the wellness center today. kelsey my RA is my workout buddy we are going to try and go everyday if we can i did the bike for 45 min and lifted a few weights and now my legs hurt. but its all worth it, nothing else really going on so with that i am going to end this with the following: Peace, Happiness, and a medics love.

in light of boredom on campus i am starting this to keep my self occupied and so those i love can keep updated on my college life and new experiences, i just got back from a full month of nothing but working and hanging out with old friends. IT WAS AWESOME!!! christmas was great, i got a new digital camera, new hooks for my cowboy hats, quarters for laundry(always a plus!!!) some earrings and a ring. went into OEC (opportunities for emergency care) which is where i got my EMT training for those who dont know, a few times to see the staff and help out. worked at turnstyle for julie made some money which was a plus. went out to ichibans for the first time with some friends to say goodbye. it was fun. made the long drive back to close to nowhere and far from anywhere USA or moorhead for short. it was a nice drive not too much traffic. so all in all it was a great break and now its time to get back into the study mode. i have a mild load this semester. i am taking 14 credits and only 4 classes. i have human biology, personal health and wellness, expository writing, and human sexuality. nothing to difficult but it makes it better for trying to get a job. i need $$$ feel free to donate at your leisure just kidding.
